一场别开生面的感官盛宴

3月22日下午，效实中学东部校区举行了一场别开生面的感官盛宴——“英语原版影片配音大赛”。电影是一门大众喜闻乐见的综合艺术，囊括文学、戏剧、音乐、美术、建筑、摄影等，学子们用英语来诠释之，会是何样风采？

简单回顾：

寒假作业的一纸通知拨动了效实学子们的心弦：“效实中学东部校区首届英语原版影视配音大赛”暂定于2019年3月底或4月初举行，同学们请在寒假期间做好前期准备，如：选定参赛人员，筛选并剪辑所需影视片段等……

  高效完成作业的“军备竞争”之余，老师办公室，教室的某个角落，到处可见同学们反复揣摩、演练角色台词的场景……

                 效实舞台，学生主场

    本次活动经过每个班级小组自选节目、小班初选、大班再次遴选推荐演员；男女主持人选拔大赛等环节，历时约两月，同学们利用课余、饭后、周末等反复排练精进，有班级排练多达40多次。心心念念，必有回响，因了用心用情，每个班级的演绎精彩纷呈，高潮迭起。从演员到观众，从动漫社的友情出演、学生摄影师到各环节的学生自愿者，整个活动中看到了同学们的积极参与和主体意识；教师是组织者、指导者，幕后默默奉献的推手！

           “公平公正”，效实一贯考量标准

    外聘的六位评委团成员，分别来自IB外教、兄弟学校英语老师、效实优秀学长等，实行“双轨”评分，严肃、认真、专业！评委团代表IB外教Darren James 高度评价学生们的演出：各班精选片段从内容到形式丰富多彩；团队精诚合作、精心准备——使得评委老师很难分出伯仲，所有参赛者有理由为自己付出的所有努力和获得而自豪。

            来自各班英语课代表的心声

【收获篇】

回想配音比赛前同学们的准备工作，心中不免泛起涟漪。听闻有此比赛，同学们纷纷踊跃参与，为配音工作献出一份自己的力量。班内的初选中，每个小组精心准备。参演的同学们牺牲了中午学习休息的时间，跟看视频，反复演练，仔细推敲人物的语气、语调和神态。

    比赛中大家用流利的语言，纯正的声音，丰富的表演动作和默契的团队赢得了现场的阵阵掌声和欢呼。他们对原作的还原同样值得称赞，用beatbox模拟爆炸声、风声、掉门声等；用现场弦乐演奏制造背景音乐；用踏步表示人物走动；用敲打桌子表示物品掉落......满载同学们热情的表演收获了一众评委的好评。

    这次活动丰富了同学们的课余生活，展示了效实学子优秀的英语水平，提高了同学们对英语学习的乐趣。同时还应感谢各位老师的支持与付出，成就了这次比赛的圆满完成。

本次英语配音大赛是效实中学东部校区暨成立以来的首届英语配音大赛。各班的同学、英语组的老师以及校领导对此次配音比赛分别给予了极大的参与或支持热情。在两个月紧锣密鼓的选材、排练、剪辑工作后，比赛如期举行了，并在课堂之外生动活泼地展示了各班对于英语影视动画口语的熟练水平，一方面使观赛同学或捧腹大笑或感伤而泣，丰富了同学的课余生活，另一方面也增长了观赛者和参赛者的知识，锻炼了我们的口语能力，展现了别样的效实英语文化。此外，它还鼓励了同学们继续在影视中学习英语的热情，为提高口语水平提供了一条不错的路径。

    然而在准备过程中，也暴露出了不少同学们在口语表达、熟练程度上仍有较大的差距（因为已经是选取口语较优者参赛），这为老师提了个醒，即应更多关注英语口语的表达与应用。                        （D2106）

The English dubbing competition held last Friday was quite a success, as all the participants were giving their full efforts in the performances. As an audience and a participant myself, I regard this competition as a splendid “talent shoe” and a chance to develop cooperation ability as well. My fellows and I have been preparing for it since the winter vacation, deciding the movie we were going to dub and allocating tasks. During the previous month, we have practiced for more than 40 times in total. Attempting to understand the emotions of characters in particular circumstances, we watched the original versions over and over again and then try to express that by altering the volume and tones while dubbing. In the competition, I was amazed by the performances given by other classes. An applause for all these participants, for I know how much they have been devoted to giving such a great performance. After watching the competition, I’m satisfied with our schoolmates’ awesome performance. Instead of just sitting as an audience, I took part in the competition myself. Through this unforgettable experience, I found it hard but interesting to practice with my friends. All of our participants spent a lot of time rehearsing. Everyone was paying his or her efforts to feel the character by heart. And I can’t forget how excited we were when we finally can dub the entire video successfully. Although we are not the greatest group, we have done our best. This activity makes our class a more harmony family. Every individual in our class showed the passion and contributed to the competition. I’m deeply touched by my classmates, and feel thankful to our hard work. （D2103）

During the competition, all of us are moved by our teacher’s patient organization, our classmates’ hard work and the audience’s laughter. It’s the symbol of success (at least I think so). The competition makes this spring lively and meaningful.

We love English. The brave character, the unexpected plots, the sadness and happiness of the stories. All of them seem like a surprise to the audience. And the competition also taught us more about the movies, and about our life. We chose the cartoon called Inside Out, which talked about how emotions affect our daily lives. As a saying goes, the beginning is the hardest. At first, the speed that characters speak trapped us. When we practiced, we couldn’t keep up with their pace in the movie. However, with millions of times of listening and repeating, the speed was no longer a problem for us. Gradually we were fascinated by the charm of dubbing. Then practicing became a part of our life. We practiced after class, at lunch break, during the weekends. All these hard work was finally paid off on the competition day. We were nervous but we did our best. We won the approval of our classmates and our teachers.

The competition ended. The result isn’t the most important thing. What really matters is the experience we get. We will remember the time we have spent together practicing. We will remember all the difficulties that we have gone through. We will remember, most importantly, the happiness that English dubbing has brought us. （D2107）

【点评篇】

The first dubbing competition was held successfully on last Friday. Extraordinary work was presented by the students of Xiaoshi during the competition, and left us an unforgettable experience. We were inspired by the perfect accent of Duke Drac in the Hotel Transylvania performed by 2104 and the innocent and smooth voice of Judy Hoppes in the Zootopia performed by 21IB1. However, what moved me most was the marvelous performance of 2102. It seems that their passion of English helped them overcome their weakness and they show great pronunciation and full emotions.

This event not only opened a new door to English learning by setting up a bridge between English and our daily lives, but also inspired us that how funny and joyful English learning can be. So let’s learn English! （D2101）

    很荣幸我们的班级取得了第一名的好成绩，成功的关键是回到原声，我们的口音（声线）与欧美、英国、印度很不一样，尽管很认真去模仿，但是也不可能达到一模一样。我认为最佳最有效的方法就是揣摩并理解人物的性格特点和说话，例如“Big Bang”里面的Raj，他作为一群美国人中的一个印度人，他的思想观念以及英语口音与其他朋友不同，再例如“SpongeBob Square-pants”里的Squidward（章鱼哥），他的声音始终软软的，蔫蔫的。所以，配音的关键是理解性格和特点。（D2102）

【心情篇】

    作为这次配音比赛的参与者，在准备自己班的表演时，我们多次情不自禁得被其他班的表演吸引到了。我们班是第八个班表演，但这么长的预备时间中，我从来没能成功地完成一次默背。令我记忆尤深的几个节目包括笑声制造者“老友记”的配音，我的最爱“精灵旅社”的配音，还有IB2班的蜘蛛侠平行宇宙的配音。

    在舞台上时，我的腿一直在抖。事后，大家交流时，都表示抖腿是共性。然而大家都很努力、做得很棒。  （D21IB1）

I didn’t take part in this competition, but I took my heart with them. When I sat in the audience seat watching their interesting and excellent performances, I couldn’t help wondering how hard-working they were during the past month. No matter what kind of prize our class wins at last, I am very proud of them. Hope I could be one of them next year. （D2107）

【反思篇】

在这次英语配音比赛当中，我作为班级节目组织者和参加者，感受到了自己的不足，也学到了很多。首先是在准备过程中的拖延，由于在选片和制作消音视频中不断地改动，导致最后排练的时间大大减少，最后表演的时候，虽然整体上没有太大的错误，但在很多细节上，包括语音语调，语句之间的衔接以及流畅性等，都难称完美，而过少的排练时间无疑是最大的原因。 其次是对同学们参演的需求不够了解，我们班不少女生的参演积极性是很高的，但在选片的时候却选择了一部男性戏份比较多的片段，导致最后不得不剪成两部电影的合集来平衡戏份。

虽然在准备过程中出现了很多问题，但在同学们不断的沟通与协调下，我们最后成功地给大家呈现了一段还不错的配音表演，而大家也在配置中收获了快乐和一点点成就感，我想这就挺好了。（D2105）
